Terms & Conditions

Welcome to The Hampton Hotel website. By accessing this website, making a reservation, or staying at our property, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.


1. About The Hampton Hotel

The Hampton Hotel is located in the historic spa town of Llandrindod Wells, Powys, Wales. We provide hotel accommodation, dining facilities and related hospitality services for leisure and business travellers.

Our facilities include:

  • Comfortable guest accommodation

  • On-site restaurant

  • Complimentary Wi-Fi in public areas

  • Free on-site parking (subject to availability)

  • Secure motorcycle storage

  • Dog-friendly accommodation (subject to availability and conditions)


2. Reservations

Reservations may be made through our official website, by telephone, by email or through authorised third-party booking partners.

A booking is only confirmed once you receive a booking confirmation from The Hampton Hotel or our authorised booking provider.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking where necessary, including in cases of suspected fraud, incorrect pricing caused by technical errors, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.


3. Check-in & Check-out

Check-in: From 2:30 PM until 11:00 PM

Guests arriving later than 11:00 PM should contact the hotel in advance to arrange a late arrival where possible.

Check-out: Between 7:30 AM and 11:00 AM

Late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.


4. Guest Identification

Guests may be asked to provide valid photographic identification and, where required, a valid payment card upon arrival.

The hotel reserves the right to refuse accommodation if suitable identification cannot be provided.


5. Payments

We accept the following payment methods:

  • American Express

  • Discover

  • Diners Club

  • JCB

  • Cash

Full payment or a deposit may be required depending on the booking type and rate selected.


6. Cancellation & Prepayment

Cancellation and prepayment terms vary depending on the room type, rate selected and booking conditions.

Guests should review the specific cancellation policy displayed during the booking process before confirming their reservation.

Failure to arrive without cancelling your booking may result in a charge in accordance with your selected booking conditions.


7. Children

Children of all ages are welcome.

Children aged 3 years and above are charged at the adult rate.

Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times while on hotel premises.

The hotel does not provide cots or extra beds.


8. Occupancy

Only the number of guests confirmed within the reservation may occupy the booked room.

Additional guests may not stay overnight without prior approval from hotel management.

Extra charges may apply where occupancy limits are exceeded.


9. Pets

Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.

The following conditions apply:

  • A maximum of one dog per room

  • Pets must not be left unattended in guest rooms

  • Owners are responsible for the behaviour of their pets

  • Guests are liable for any damage caused by their pets

  • Additional cleaning or damage charges may apply where necessary

The hotel reserves the right to refuse pets that may pose a risk to other guests or staff.


10. Smoking

The Hampton Hotel operates a strict no-smoking policy inside all guest rooms and internal public areas.

Smoking includes cigarettes, cigars, vaping devices and electronic cigarettes where prohibited.

Guests who breach this policy may be charged additional cleaning costs and may be asked to leave the premises.


11. Guest Behaviour

Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards staff, other guests and hotel property.

The hotel reserves the right to terminate a stay without refund where guests engage in:

  • Violent or abusive behaviour

  • Criminal activity

  • Excessive noise

  • Harassment

  • Damage to hotel property

  • Behaviour that endangers others

Guests remain responsible for any damage caused during their stay.


12. Hotel Facilities

We make every effort to ensure all advertised facilities remain available.

Occasionally certain facilities or services may be unavailable due to maintenance, repairs or circumstances beyond our control.

Such temporary interruptions shall not normally constitute grounds for compensation.


13. Restaurant Services

Restaurant opening hours may vary.

Menus, pricing and availability are subject to change without prior notice.

Guests should inform staff of any allergies or dietary requirements before ordering food.

Whilst every effort is made to accommodate dietary requests, we cannot guarantee that meals will be completely free from allergens.


14. Parking

Complimentary on-site parking is available for hotel guests, subject to availability.

Vehicles are parked entirely at the owner’s risk.

The Hampton Hotel accepts no responsibility for theft, loss or damage to vehicles or their contents except where required by law.


15. Motorcycle Storage

Secure motorcycle storage is available for guests.

While reasonable care is taken, motorcycles and their contents remain the responsibility of their owners.


16. Wi-Fi

Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided for guest convenience.

Guests agree not to use the internet service for unlawful, harmful or abusive activities.

The hotel cannot guarantee uninterrupted internet access.


17. Personal Property

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings at all times.

The Hampton Hotel accepts no liability for loss, theft or damage to personal possessions unless caused by our proven negligence.


18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, The Hampton Hotel shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your stay, your use of our website or any interruption to our services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury, fraud or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.


19. Website Information

We aim to ensure all information on our website is accurate and up to date.

However, descriptions, photographs, pricing and availability may occasionally change without notice.

We reserve the right to correct any errors or omissions.


20. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, images, logos, graphics and branding, remains the property of The Hampton Hotel or its licensors unless otherwise stated.

No material may be copied, reproduced or distributed without prior written permission.

23. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
